Actor, producer, director, author, Emmy-winning voice actor, and reality competition host, Joe Manganiello can most recently be seen as the executive producer and host of season two of NBC’s hit series Deal or No Deal Island. As an actor, Manganiello is probably best known for his role as the werewolf Alcide Herveaux on HBO’s True Blood.
He serves on the board of directors at both UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh and The Children of Armenian Fund, and is an advisory board member for both Liquid Death and Colossal Biosciences.
A longtime friend of the Club, on April 26, 2025, Manganiello will make his debut on the greatest stage in exploration — as the master of ceremonies for the 121st Explorers Club Annual Dinner.
