🔎 Exploring by the Seat of Your Pants – Livestream Classroom Events
Join Club Director Joe Grabowski and world class explorers as they speak to students from around the world.
All classroom events will be fully virtual, streaming live via the Exploring By The Seat of Your Pants YouTube channel – click here to register your classroom and see a full streaming schedule!
🎨 Ambassador Exhibits
The first floor of Club Headquarters will be transformed into the habitats of our three oceans week ambassadors!
🌴 Designed by Jeremy McKane, the lobby will feature fully immersive Mangrove Projection, with guests entering the Club right into the intertidal zone
🐙 Led by Marc Bryan-Brown, the Members Lounge will convert into an Octopus Den, full of featured entrants from our Octo Photo Contest, and well as the winner of our Student Octopus Drawing Contest
🐧 Curated by Deirdre Brennan, our Apollo Room is morphing into a Penguin Parlor, replete with penguin exhibits, penguin art, and penguin photography from The Global Penguin Society and Kristin Lindblad.
🛍️ Oceans Week Outfitters
The Explorers Club Outfitters will have an outpost at Headquarters, with select sustainably produced Oceans Week merchandise available throughout the week.
Be sure to grab a water bottle to fill at our Oceans Week hydration stations, in partnership with Fill it Forward!
🌊👩⚖️ Virtual Ocean Auction
For the first time, the Club will be curating a number of ocean related items – including world-class trips, iconic artwork, and unique experiences. The online bidding site will launch soon, and you can bid from anywhere in the world.
All proceeds will support The Explorers Club mission to explore by all means possible.
