Join The Explorers Club and renowned wildlife photographer Tom Murphy and experience a bit of America’s most magnificent park.

Photographer Tom Murphy has dedicated his life to speaking out for the wildlife of Yellowstone. In the dead of winter, Murphy treks deep into the Park to document the lives and struggles of those who survive there. His remarkable photographs capture both the magnificence of Yellowstone and one man’s tenacious dedication to protect what is still wild.

This event will feature Tom presenting some of his own work and story, as well as a early screening of an upcoming PBS documentary about his work titled Frozen Frames: Murphy’s Yellowstone. All guests will receive a free signed print of Tom’s Bison Commemorative Stamp, recently released by the United States Postal Service.

This in-person event at the Explorers Club Headquarters will include an audience Q&A and a book signing.

Speakers

Tom Murphy

A bona fide explorer, Tom is the first person to ski solo across Yellowstone National Park, a 175-mile winter journey with -50 degree temperatures. He did this without a tent. Tom has dedicated his life to preserving the wild-ness and wildlife of Yellowstone National Park for over 50 years. In May, the United States Postal Service released 15 million Forever Stamps featuring one of Tom’s bison photos.
