Honoring the achievements of OotahEgingwahSeegloo, and Ooqueah – the Four Inughuit Hunters on the Peary-Henson Expedition of 1909.

With remarks from Navarana Kavivak, descendant of Ootah, and Aviaq Henson, great-granddaughter of Matthew Henson.

A light breakfast will be available starting at 8:15 am.

THE EC50 SYMPOSIUM

The event will showcase presentations from our incredible Explorers Club 50 program – explorers who are changing the world, that the world needs to know about.

Featuring 30 honorees across both our 2021 and 2022 classes of the EC50.

NEW MEMBER RECEPTION

For those newly inducted into the ranks of membership, this traditional welcome reception is an opportunity to have a drink at headquarters, tour the building, and meet Club leadership.

ECAD KICK-OFF PARTY

Begin the day with a special Awardee Symposium at the University Club, and learn about the lifetime of work that has led these explorers to their recognition as Club Awardees.

Featuring comments and a live Q&A with Endurance22 Director of Exploration Mensun Bound FI’18 and AUV Supervisor Chad Bonin MN’21, freshly back from their discovery of Shackleton’s Endurance.
