Dispatches from the Field, a new digital program designed to bring The Explorers Club community closer—wherever you are.

Each session kicks off with a 15-20-minute talk from a Featured Speaker, recorded and posted later to the public on explorers.org and our YouTube channel.

This will be followed by Campfire sessions—intimate, Members-Only breakout groups where you can connect, share ideas, and build relationships.

This edition features Ryan Rumpca (MN’26), Lonnie Dupre, and Pascale Marceau presenting “Nord Hus Expedition – Sailing from the Great Lakes to Greenland”

After the first and only successful circumnavigation of Greenland, Lonnie Dupre (FN ’96) aims for Greenland once again. This time setting sail on a 36′ sloop traveling 4,200 nautical miles from the little town of Grand Marais, Minnesota on the western shores of Lake Superior with his eyes set on Kane Basin in northwestern Greenland. Please join Lonnie Dupre, Pascale Marceau, and Ryan Rumpca (MN’26) as they share the journey and findings from onboard S/V Nord Hus somewhere near Disko Bay, Greenland.
