NASA Astronaut Leroy Chiao Keynotes; Club President Alan Nichols Receives EC Flag for Genghis Khan Expedition
The Explorers Club will hold a chapter dinner in Beijing on Sept. 18. That night, starting at 6 p.m., some of the world’s greatest explorers will gather to celebrate the role China has played in exploration. In attendance will be Explorers Club President Alan Nichols, an authority on Emperor Chinggis Qa’an (Genghis Khan); and NASA Astronaut Leroy Chiao, who will speak about the cooperation among nations for space exploration. Nichols will be presented with a traditional Explorers Club flag to take on his upcoming Genghis Khan Expedition.
