Jim Fowler has been a tireless educator, advocate and spokesman for wildlife and conservation all over the world. Best-known as co-host, and later host, of the pioneering wildlife television series, "Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom", Fowler has dedicated his life to finding new ways to help people understand that wildlife and wilderness are important to their lives. In numerous public appearances at schools and wildlife organizations around the country, Fowler has used his knowledge, signature-style and - yes - living creatures, to illustrate the importance of conservation to ourselves and future generations.
In The Explorers Club, Fowler has seen a partner in this mission. His involvement has been legendary: Fowler has previously served as Honorary President, member of the Board, Chairman of the Flag and Honors Committee, ECAD Toastmaster and the anchor of many of the Club’s Special Events. When the Club has called, Jim has answered, and we are pleased that he has agreed to be our Honorary Chairman.
